Your secret forest getaway

Seikanso is a small, 9-room Ryokan that faces Mt. Yusaka. All the rooms come with a private open-air hot spring - 5 facing  Mt. Yusaka and other 4 with the baths in a patio. 

With Seikanso's Kaiseki courses you can taste the region. They are carefully prepared by the chef, use local ingredients - in season.

Each of their 9 rooms, named by a high monk of the Sounji temple, is differently designed in colors related to the room name.

Room Type 1: Facing Yusaka mountain
 Five of the rooms have views of the mountain from the private onsen. Enjoy the beautiful panorama while the hot onsen water soothes away your fatigue and stress. The room is in a modern Japanese style with a tatami-mat floor.

Room Type2 : with a detached private onsen
The other 4 rooms have a private open-air bath in a detached house in the patio. After private bathing, enjoy and relax in the calm atmosphere of the modern Japanese room.

Enjoy their creative Kaiseki courses of creatively prepared local vegetables, beef, sashimi and grilled fish in your room. The young chef changes the menu every month, so you can feel the season while you dine.
