Overview

Matsuzakaya is THE traditional, Japanese experience.

Established in 1662, Matsuzakaya has seen many faces, big and small, for over 350 years. And though the times have changed, Matsuzakaya preserves the look and feel it had all those years ago.

Though located in a quiet area, Matsuzakaya is still easy to access and close to popular tourist spots like Ashinoko lake and Hakone shrine.

Not just a building, Matsuzakaya is an environment. It has 5 different buildings and 22 rooms, and the Ryokan recently opened 5 new private hot springs that you can reserve. Both of the public and private baths serve unfiltered, 100% natural hot spring water.

Come, stay at Matsuzakaya and be a part of history.
