− HAKONE, KANAGAWA PREF. −
This Ryokan is great for
Experiencing traditional Japan in comfort
The traditional, rustic feel with small touches of modern comforts will make sure your experience is a comfortable one.
Peacefully enjoying hot springs in nature
A hot-spring, hidden by the forest, right by the river will be your own oasis during your stay.
Enjoying authentic Japanese cuisine - to your taste
Though it specializes in Pheasant kaiseki , Hoeiso is very flexible and can fit most dietary needs.
Overview
Hoeiso is the home in the mountains you always wanted.
Overlooking a steep valley with the verdant Hakone mountains almost an arms-breadth away, Hoeiso feels like an oasis of peace and solitude in the mountains.
You would never guess it is only a short bus trip from the center of Hakone.
Experience the quiet, almost rustic atmosphere that focuses on comfort and simplicity.
Walk through the stone path through the forest-like garden on your way to a private, hidden hot spring while the Sukumo river sings to you.
Despite the quietness and the calmness, Hoeiso is just 15 minutes by bus from Hakone-yumoto St.
We highly recommend to arrive at Hoeiso early and have the onsen all to yourself. The usual check-in time is 3 PM.
